In this InfoTracer opt out guide, we’ll show you each step to take to remove data from the data broker search results.
1. Go to the InfoTracer opt out page.
The InfoTracer home page doesn’t have a link to the opt out page. Instead, you can go directly there by following this link: infotracer.com/optout.
2. Enter your contact information.
Fill out the four sections with your contact information. When you’re done, click Submit.
While you don’t have to fill in the City field, doing so can narrow your search results, making it easier for you to find them and continue the opt out process.
3. Verify that you’re a human.
You’ll see a verification window with a checkbox. Click the checkbox to verify that you’re not a bot.
4. Wait for your search results.
InfoTracer will take a few seconds to find search results that match the info you submitted. You’ll be automatically redirected to the results when they’re ready.
5. Find and select your record or records.
Look through the list of sensitive information to see if your records are included. It’s possible there will be several records for one person.
The info you’ll see will include the following:
- First and last name
- Middle name or initial
- First and last name alternatives
- Age
- Current and past addresses

7. Fill out the Remove Data page sections.
On the Remove Data page, enter your email address and click the captcha box. When you’re done, click Submit.
8. Check your email.
After each removal request you submit, you’ll get a confirmation email from InfoTracer with a verification link. Click the verification link in your email to complete the process.
You’ll be redirected to a confirmation page that says your InfoTracer opt out request was received.
